English verbs are normally known by infinitives :

Positive (Subject + verb)

Interrogative (DO / DOES[FOR THE THIRD PERSON SINGULAR]+ SUBJECT + INFINITIVE WITHOUT TO)

Do I work

Negative (SUBJECT + DO / DOES[FOR THE THIRD PERSON SINGULAR]+ NOT + INFINITIVE WITHOUT TO)

I do not (don’t) work

You do not (don’t) work

She does not (doesn’t) work

You do not (don’t) work

They do not (don’t) work
